Lisa Love has started for the Tech volleyball team for the past two years. Teresa Jones played on three all-state ball teams at Monahans and participated in the 1974 all-star game. Christy Cotton played volleyball for three years at Pearce High and was named all-district and most valuable player. Mary Dowdle clocked a 1:00 tune in the 100-yard butterfly while swimming for Midland Lee.

Ditti Rotolo set the Arizona state record in the 500-yard freestyle with a 5:16 time. Sara MacDonald swims distance freestyle, butterfly and individual medley and has qualified for the AAU national meet three years. Cheryl Greer averaged 33 points a game as a senior at Bridgeport while Evelyn Munoz averaged 23 a game at Anthony. Tech still has one scholarship available for volleyball, golf and swimming and two each for basketball and track.
