According to Missouri State Police, the Burch automobile was involved in a headon collision with another vehicle.

The driver of the latter car is reported to have been pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Mr. and Mrs. Burch were taken to a hospital at Jefferson City where they were given em ergency treatment and later transferred to a hospital at Columbia Mo. The condition of Mr.
