pilot of the St Uouis-Chlo'ago air mail plane prevented from landing at Chicago tonight by a heavy foe dropped more than 4000 feet from his plane by parachute safely here tonight His plane was wrecked I-indberg made the flight from St Louis to Chicago but because of dense fog over the latter city decided to turn back in an effort to find a place to land When he was 11 miles north of Ottawa his gas
