The death of rs. Agnes Nicholson Thorns, wife of Mr. F. D. Thorns occurred in the first hour of Easter morning, in Ashboro, at the home of Mr.

W. H. Mor-ing, her son-in-law. Funeral services were held at Mr. Mor-ing's residence on April 16th, conducted by Rev.

of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Snow, of High Point, fell a distance of fifty feet Sunday afternoon and was horribly mutilated and died soon after, without regaining consciousness.

The lad in company with other boys had gone to the new silk mill where a large brick chimney was in course of construction.
