Rupe of the third has thus far not committed himself, it Is stated, but is believed to be opposed, as road projects in his district take every cent he can raise. Teachers Are Overpaid? The matter. of reducing teachers' salaries came up for discussion and a number of those present expressed themselves as favoring a reduction. Such reductions may be accomplished, however, only by organized influence brought bear: upon the trustees, as the trustees are the sole arbiters of this matter in their respective districts. The farm bureau is working.
