Davidson, with a little help from understudy Billy Hooper in the Vanderbiit game, has hit his pass receivers for 148 yards per game and Coody, Dupre and Jones have averaged 227 yards on the ground. Sauer pulled his starters after 26 minutes against Vanderbilt or the average might have been higher. Hooper stepped in and hit 11 of 14 passes, eight of them in a row, and Holley averaged nearly eight yards per try on 11 carries. The Baylor-Texas Aggie game at College Station is one of two conference contests on the program.
