HUSS March 25 The Palestine crisis took a turn for the worse today when Jordan rejected UN Secretary General Hammarskjold's mandatory call lor direct negotiations with Israel on armistice disputes. Hammarskjold promptly withdrew his call, thereby leaving the way clear for an Israeli charge in the Security Council that Jordan has committed a grave violation of the armistice it signed in 1949.
