Charley Nokes who lives just across the line in Ark. sold the Nokes home-stead last week to a man from western Okla. This farm was settled, by grandma Nokes and her husband In 1868. According to report from tKe Local Exemption'Board, the work of mailing out the questionnaires to all registrants in the county is progressing, and the required, number of 5 percent has gone out each day since December will continue to be mailed out untilJanuary 9th, when the last will be mailed. Likewise they are now coming back to the board properly filled out, and just as quickly as the board can get to it each registrant will be classified and his induction into military service will be deter- mined by the number of the particular class in which he is placed by the board. There is much work in connection withjthe classifying of the registrants, and it is impossible to determine just how long it will take to complete the work.
