Walter Brennan appears in skirts as the real Curry's grandman, who's determined to clear his name. FRIDAY A classic mystery theme is SATURDAY A plane crash, the near death of a four year old boy and a heart attack victim challenge the expertise of the paramedics and the hospital staff on 'Emergency!" at 8:00 p.m.

The World Champion Pittsburgh Pirates, who have been struggling during the past week to retain first place in their division, will meet the Atlanta Braves in Atlanta at 7:00 p.m. on WJAC and WSEE.

WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS This week's program at 5:00 pm. on WKBW will feature the following: Bobby Fischer (U.S.) meets reigning champ Boris Spassky (USSR) in the World Championship Chess Tournament in Iceland; and also opening action in the U.S. Men's Olympic Track and Field Trials, taped earlier in the week. SUNDAY BASEBALL The New York Mets will play host to another game with the Los Angeles Dodgers at 2:00 p.m. on WOR.
