Committeeman Jones called attention to the practice in some sections of the city of sweeping sweeping leaves on to the street, and it was also reported that in some sections these leaves and other trash are burned on the improved streets, thus injuring permanently- paving. This is a violation of ordinance and is punishable by a heavy fine.
