Their award-winning year was also highlighted with a special performance at Walt Disney in December, a command performance in the Reading area, and many local performances. The dancers have become well known for their Irish Dancing to the popular "Riverdance" and "Lord of the Dance." They will be the headliners for the Miss Keystone Pageant, a pre-runner to the Miss Pennsylvania Pageant, in March in Allentown. The studio's Senior Attitude also received the best in competition award and the Cavalcade Superstar Award for their ballet, pointe, lyrical and funk members. Thirteen-year-old Gabrielle Staruch was honored with the best costume award for her rendition of Elisa Doolittle from My Fair Lady, and was also awarded the photogentic superstar for the highest scoring photo in the competition of hundreds. The Cavalcade of Stars overall awards were given to the highest scores in a particular category. HSD winners of this award were Mini Attitude, Petite Attitude, Senior Attitude and Elite Attitude, -as well as soloist Michele Burke. In the modeling event, Shanna Yurewick received the superstar model award in the 16 plus division.

Students of the Hazleton Studio of Dance competed at the Cavalcade of Star competition in Lake Harmony and New Jersey; the Performing Arts Alliance at King of Prussia, and the American Stardom Awards in Tan-nersville.
