home of the latter in Sabina Sunday morning af ter a short illness uneral services were held Tuesday and interment at Highland The deceased was a fre quent visitor to Sabina The frame house on the John Curtis farm south of town was burned to the ground Wednesday morning David Drake the occupant was engaged in rendering lard and it is thought the house took fire from a defective flue There was no insurance on either the house or the household goods and the loss to Mr Drake comes as a hard blow as he lost almost Jesse Henkle and Blanche DeGrot of Springfield were the guests of friends and relatives here the latter part of last week Thorp left the middle of last week to visit the bedside of his uncle George Culberson in Porterville Cal A subscription amounting to $100 in money and considerable goods was raised' in a short time last week for David Drake who lost almost bis en tire outfit of household goods in the burning of his house on the John Cur tis farm Dr Thorp of Marysville a former Sabina boy has enjoyed a tbritty practice in that city A few days since he purchased a business block there containing three business rooms and btingiugan annual rental of Record
