largely attended At the funeral the following memoir was read: Mary Catharine Jenkins oldest daughter of Alexander and Mary Jen kins was born March 31 1861 died Thursday August 8 1895 She united with the Christian Church at Wilming mington August 7 1881 About five years ago she became a member of this church where her membership remain ed until her death Only a week ago she said to some friends around her do not know how my sickness will terminate but with me it will be all right whichever way it On Wednesday night seeming to realize her condition she kissed those of her loved ones who were there and in a few moments bade them good bye She was united in marriage to Darbyshire on September 7 1892 She leaves two sisters Mrs Harvey Shrack and Mrs Madison Learning two brothers Carson and Clinton Jen kins to mourn for her but' God will help the bereaved ones to bear their sorrow with that blessed hope of a fu ture meeting that lightens all grief Andy Murphy and brother of New Antioch started for her Ore gon home Wednesday after an extend ed visit with relatives here The ball game here Tuesday between the home team and ayetteville result ed in a score 11: to 10 in favor of Lynchburg bulldozing tactics have won many games but it work when Lynchburg en deavored to play them a return game Thursday With the score 1 to 0 at the beginning of the second inning and Lynchburg batting ayettej star pitcher Wm Bass wherever they pleased the commenced their old tactics of trying to bluff the umpire and terrifying the players but it was no go As they refused to con tinue the parted this life Thursday week at her home in Sabina The news was re ceived with deep feelings of sorrow in this community She was a popular member of the North airview Baptist Church Although it had been known by her friends that she had been quite ill for some time but none thought her illness would prove fatal The re 0AKLAND Quite a serious accident happened to one of our citizens last week children spent last week in an outing with the family of Brewster Dakin near Washington Sam Pendry of Lafayette Ind is at home for a brief visit The Sabina club defeated the Scioto club of Chillicothe
