BIAGGNE Biaggne is running on his reputation and record. He is not trying to buy the office. When I was in ofvice for 24 years, the Gaiveston Sheriffs office was known as one of the best in the state; Claude "Bud" was Chief Deputy Sheriff for 32 years when I took over and he had a lawyer's degree. He stayed with me for four years and Toby Smith was in the office with Mr. Allen and and Toby took over when Mr.

Allen passed away. When Toby went the service in World War II, then Sgt. Mike Fifzsimmcns came in. He was a bookkeeper for Kelso before he joined the police department. He knew the books, the legal work and could answer any question concerning law.

My office was known as the best in the state for legal talent I took over the Sheriff's office with only two deputies. 1 left with eight. Now there are 28 deputies. I had to do all my investigations of burglaries and ail felony cases and was called ouf all hours of the night. I have never shirked a duty or dodged a responsibility.

I was always on the job. RE-ELECT F. L. BIAGGNE, SHERIFF PAID POLITICAL ADVERTISEMENT RE-ELECT GOVERNOR Price Dani VOTE FOR c. for DEMOCRATIC CHAIRMAN Best for Texas For Unity, Progress, and Good Government SEE AND HEAR STATEWIDE TV FRIDAY, 6:15 P.M.
