Barr also ordered King to pay back the money at the rate of $75 a month. Newly-Formed Unil lo Meet In S.B. Jan. An open luncheon meeting of the newly formed San Bernardino chapter of the National Rehabilitation Association will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Jan.

8, at the Plantation, 1470 E. Highland San Bernardino, according to Charles Mitchell, membership chairman. The chapter, an offshot of the Southern California chapter in Los Angeles, received its charter from the national office ef fective Jan. 1, 19G9. It already has 50 members.

The association is concern-ed with the problems of rehabilitating individuals with physical or mental impairment, in cluding those whose impairment is related to cultural depnva tion. There are 50,000 members in the association nationally. The new chapter will cover all of San Bernardino and Riverside counties, and the east end of Los Angeles County, including the Pomona area. Persons interested in further information should contact Mitchell at the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, 303 W. 3rd San Bernardino.

Area To Attend Seminar Three San Bernardino area residents will be among the experts in the field of aging who will attend a seminar of 70 spe-cialists'Jan. 29 through 31 in Los Angeles under the sponsorship of the State of California Commission on Aging. The three include Mary Wheeler, San Bernardino County Council Community Services, William R. Edison, project di rector, San Bernardino County Project of Aging and Elizabeth Gallup, Colton, secretary of San Bernardino County Senior Citizens Clubs.

Certification Set For New Lawyer A San Bernardino High School graduate has successfully passed the 19(58 fall California Bar Examination and will.be certified before the Fourth District Courts of Appeal on Jan. 9. He is Duke D. Rouse, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Jack D. Rouse, of 1125 West Pine Redlands. Rouse earned his law degree at Indiana University. He plans to join the firm of Julius J. Novak and Associates in San Bernardino.

New Year's Party Planned by Legion San Bernardino American Legion Post 14 will hold its annual New Year's Eve dance and party in its clubhouse. 732 Sierra Way, beginning at 9 p.m. Tuesday. Dancing will conclude at 1 a.m., when a ham and eggs breakfast will be served. An hour earlier, will come the traditional New Year intermission.

Music this year will be supplied by the Wayne Wisner orchestra which boasts several soloists from name bands. Arrangements for the evening have been in charge of Andrew La-rio assisted by James Clapper-Ion, Bob Adams, E. L. Hetrick, Mrs. Mary Gaughan and Mrs.

Jane Miles. Lario, a Vietnam veteran, has extended a welcome to all returned Vietnam veterans and their companions to attend.
