disappointing Rangers dropping their second straight conference encounter new stand 1-4 for the season- while Cisco triumphant for the first time is now 1-3 The Wranglers showing an unusually stiff defense limited KC to but 62 total yards in the first half as they built up a surprising 10-0 lead Although beginning slowly Cisco moved to the Kilgore 15 on its third possession of the game where Macial White booted a 31-yard field goal with 2:49 remaining in the opening quarter Ad "jr The scoring march began at the Ranger 41 and consumed eight plays On the play before the score Gary Robinson missed an interception at his own 7-yard marker giving the Wranglers new life Cisco had missed a field goal on its previous possession when the pigskin sailed wide to the left The Wranglers recovered a Kilgore miscue on their own 46 late an the second stanza to begin a touchdown drive Nine plays later quarterback Wayne Andrews found his tight end Darrell Covey strike with only 6 seconds left in first half action White converted the PAT for a 1(M) lead at the intermission break Covey made a tremendous diving grab of pass behind Charles Wampler The second half found penalty after penalty quarterback Clint Longley the National Athletic Intercollegiate NAIA passing and total offense leader completed 28 of 38 passes for 375 yards including two touchdowns Tailback John Reece of SFA carried 22 times for 150 yards and three touchdowns ACC which trailed 28-20 at the half scored the winning touchdown with five minutes to play when Longley combined with Richard Williams for a 70-yard scoring play Only 34 seconds later following an Air Force fumble Cappelletti scored his first touchdown on a four-yard run MICHIGAN 24 OREGON 0 ANN ARBOR Mich (AP) Larry Cipa came off the bench after three years of backing up starting quarter Seminoles to set them up at the Baylor 40 Sexton passed to Ed Davis for a first down at the 27 but Baylor held moments later on a fourth and three at the 20 when Sexton threw an incomplete pass to end last threat After a penalty-plagued first quarter in which Baylor lost 55 yards and Florida State 41 to rules infractions three touchdowns were scored in
