"I have only two meals a day," he explains. "While reading the morning paper before breakfast, I'll have a cup of tea with honey. Dinner usually consists of steak, vegetables, salad and occasionally a smidgeon of brown rice.

With my busy schedule, I don't have the time or the inclination to eat more. Wouldn't even consume that much except the furnace must be fueled? Bud's big meal of the day is breakfast. A typical menu includes fruit juice, a bowl of hot or cold cereal, fruit, three eggs, two slices of toast and a glass of milk. Bob Clayton, host of "Make a Face," settles for a few cups of coffee. "I work better on an empty stomach, he explains.

"My big meal comes about 10 p. m. when order a steak dinner, baked potato, salad and light desert." Johnny Carson, who presides over "Who Do You Trust," follows his morning fruit juice with only a sandwich just before the show. "I'm not much of an eater," he admits, "and many times I'll even skip the sandwich. Dinner is my main meal and hunger sets the time lor it anytime from 7 p.
