a a MR. AND MRS. JAMES CUDDY. The Rev. Roy' Kraft officiated when Janis Lynn Short and James Richmond Cuddy exchanged nuptial vows August 25 in Twin Lakes Baptist Church.

Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Short, 193 Caseta Way, Scotts Valley, are parents of the bride and James is the son of Mr.

and Mrs. Sheric Cuddy of Grants Pass, Oregon. Janis wore a long gown of French chantilly lace, featuring Sabrina neckline, Elizabethan sleeves, natural waistline and full, multi-tiered skirt that formed a chapel length train. Her headpiece of matching lace flowed into a lace edged, full length mantilla veil. Janis carried a colonial bouquet of white roses, stephanotis and baby's breath.

Virginia Ottowa was maid of honor in a yellow polyanza gown and matching picture hat trimmed with flowers. She carried a nosegay of yellow and white daisies and baby's breath. Ruth Springstead, Linda Roth and Esther Haug were bridesmaids, in mint green. Krista Coutberlet and Brently Keen were flower girl and ringbearer. Marie Gateley. Janis. a graduate of Soquel High School, where she was a pompon girl, attended Judson Baptist College in Portland, Oregon. She has been employed by Watkins-Johnson. James served two years active duty, with the Army, and is employed by Cascade Wood Products in White City, Oregon.

He is a graduate of Grants Pass High School and attended Judson Baptist College, Southern Oregon College and Rogue River College. The newlyweds are spending their honeymoon in Carmel, Disneyland and San Diego and will be at home in Grants Pass. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford State University at Chico in Armatis, 1522 El Dorado January with a BA degree in Avenue, annouce the medical technology.

Richard Morgan of Salinas, chose David Thomas to be his best man. Kevin Greene, brother of the bride; and David Gaschk, her cousin, were ushers. The buffet reception was in Harvey West Clubhouse, and assisting were Mrs. Don Passerino, Mrs. James English, Cynthia and Sandra Passerino and Kathleen Gaschk, Lindsay's cousin.

Mrs. Eva Crews, grandmother of the bride, was among guests. Candielight cluny lace trimmer the neckline, cuffs and hemline. Her Victorian style candlelight lace hat had flowing tulle streamers. Her nosegay contained yellow, bronze and white daisies, pompoms and baby roses. Mrs. James Jacobs was matron of honor and Lois Jordheim was bridesmaid.

They wore long gowns with ivory chiffon bodices and emerald green skirts, with princess style gown with long sleeves and ecru lace trimming at the cuffs and scoop neckline. She wore flowers in her hair and carried a bouquet of pink rosebuds, orange daisies and baby's breath. Craig Wyckoff was candlelighter and he also seated guests, as did Kenny Wallace. Music for the ceremony was furnished by Marge Snyder and Ed Kingham. After the wedding, a buffet luncheon was served the 200 guests at the Wyckoffs' cabin.

Denise Milton was maid of honor for her sister in a long, blue chiffon gown with matching lace bodice and apron front. She carried a basket of mixed flowers. Flower girl was a cousin of the bride, Juliette Bonjour. Victor Milton, Alexis' brother, was best man and ushers were Frank Tridente, Richard Wirkkala and Thomas Banis. Ringbearer was William Lucas, cousin of the bridegroom.

During the garden reception at the home of the bride's parents, Libby Pappas and Roxanne Milton, sisters of newlyweds, passed the guestbook. Alexis is a graduate of Anna Head High School in Oakland and Chabot College in Hayward. She is employed as a hygienist. William, a graduate of Santa Cruz High School, currently attends Merritt College and California State College at Hayward, majoring in X-ray technology and chemistry.
