WORSHIP WITH US St. John Liifhtrtn Chureh 400 West Hill Boulevard R. Landis Cuffman, Jr. Pastor thou persuadestme to be a Acts 26:28. When the Apostle Paul was appearing before King Agrippa in defense of his life, he made every effort to convince Agrippa that he shixild become a Christian.

Agrippa recognized that this was the desire of Paul and said that he was almo.st convinced to become one Paul then told Agrippa that he wished that he was altogether persuaded The effort of every true child of God is to try to help others see their need for becoming Christians, There are many g(X)d reasons for you to become a Christian. In article today and in a few to follow, we wish to point out some of the very good reasons that you should becoine a F'irst of all, you shixild become a Christian becaase the sinner is unfit to meet God. The problem of sin has invaded the lives of us all. In Rom. 3:23 Paul points out the fact that we all sin and fall short of the glory of God.

Thus, sm in universal. It is utter folly for a man to speak about living without sin. We learn in 1 John that if we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we say we nave not sinned in the past, we make God a liar and is Word is not in us. We beccme guilty of sm when we yield ourselves to sin.

Note James no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man, but every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own-lust and enticed. Tlien when lust hath conceived, it hringeth forth No person is born in sin. Sin is not inherited, it is committed, F'or a long time we have had those who tell us that the little baby inherited sin form its parents. The Bible very clearly contradicts this false doctrine. We are guilty of sin when we become old enough to responsible for our deeds.

We cannot go to heaven in our sins. The Bible says, there shall in no wise enter into it anything that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or niaketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb book of Rev. 21:27. Jesus told some that if they died in their sons they could not come to where he would go, Jofm 8:21. We get nd of our sms be bi'comiiig a Christian Acts 22:16.

and be baptized and wash away thy By becoming a Christian we become free from sins of the past, Thus, you sliould become a Christian because a sinner in unfit to meet God, Obey the Lord at once.
