and-or simplify a traumatic and costly procedure that directly affects 4000 adult Vermonters each year and an unknown number of their children This package is a positive indication of our ability to find solutions to difficult problems equitably and sensibly respecting both the resources and obligations of all Since in addition divorce questions and problems now touch with ever increasing seriousness extended family members schools and churches as well as legal and social service institutions I believe that many of you will want to be as informed as possible about these changes
