1-31-5W ORDINANCE NO. 3S7 An Ordinance to Prohibit the Discharge of Firearms I pon the IhiH-lic Highways of the County of San Joaquin. The Board of Supervisors of the County of San Joaquin do ordain as follows: Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any one to shoot, fire or discharge upon any public highway in the County of San Joaquin, or uny pan of the ground dedicated to such use, any fire-arms of any kind whatsoever. Section 2.

Any person found guilty of a violation of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not to exceed one hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the County Jail of San Joaquin County for not to exceed 50 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after and be in force 31 days after Us passage, and shall be published for at least one week in the Stockton Daily Independent, a newspaper printed and published in the County of San Joaquin. State of California, together with the names of the Board of Supervisors voting for and against the same. All Inconsistent ordinances herein are herewith repealed.

The foregoing ordinance containing three sections was adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Joaquin, State of California, at a regular meeting of said Board held on the 14th day of February, 1928.
