WAN IS HOSPITALIZED; DRUG OVERDOSE SEEN Leonard Topar, 21, of 186 Lovers lane, Fairfield, was found unconscious yesterday at 7: 05 p.m. in the men's room of a service station in Fairfield of what police believe to be an overdose of narcotics. Police said Topar is known as a drug addict.

Police were called to the service station at 975 Kings highway after Topar's brother, Michael, 18, found him lying on the floor. Topar was taken to Park City hospital, where his condition was reported as fair. Michael Topar told Det. Robert Russo that he had driven his brother to the station. After waiting about 10 minutes for his brother to come out of the rest room, he entered it and found him.

Police said a spoon, similar to the type used for narcotic injections, was found on the floor beside him. 2 STUDENTS ACCUSED OF BANK HOLDUP TRY WILLIMANTIC, Conn. (AP)-Two University of Connecticut students face charges of robbery with violence in what police called an attempted holdup at a bank Thursday afternoon. They were identified as Richard L. Giampo, 21, of Valley Stream, N.Y., and Joseph Mine- berg, 21, of West End, N.J.

Police said the two men handed a note to a teller at the Willimantic Trust Co. demanding money-- but left without taking any. They were apparently un- armed, police said.
