Just Between Us Bobby Westbrook Well, the old year is certainly pulling out of his hag of ti icks all the weather he had left over from the whole year in these last few days of his stay. ing, no doubt, to leave the place empty for the new' year.

No wonder had these last few days tucked away in the back of the to show them, what. Yesterday morning the children were skating 011 the driveway and last night they were sledding in the little streams of water that ran clown the hills. Well, maybe, with a good clean start, the new year will have something nice and normal to offer us soon. Though when I think what is normal for January and February, I shudder. But weather is a minor item, after all and after all.

What we really should be wishing for is that all of the good things that happened to you last year be echoed in the new, and that all the unhappy things be forgotten with the 1850 calendar that you lived with so long that you never see It anymore. Maybe we can look at everything with fresh, interested ideas as we begin the second half of the century. Anyway we can rest assured that no matter what happens, we be bored. Disappointed, sorry, heartbroken well, maybe. But bound to be interesting.

Happy New Year.
