DECEMBER 25, I960 D--THREE Barry MacKay is Named No.l U.S. Tennis Performer Darlene Hard Selected as Best Feminine Net Star NEW YORK--(AP) Barry MacKay and Earl Buchholz, both of whom signed pro contracts Wednesday, were ranked No. 1 and No. 3 by the United States Lawn Tennis association for their play during I960.

Darlene Hard of Montebello, and Karen Hantze of San Diego, were placed in the first and second berths in the women's division. The rankings must be approved at the USLTA convention in New Orleans on Feb. 4 to become official.
