Three persons were injured i two-car rear-end collision 2:30 a.m. at Stratford and Water view avenues. Taken to Bridgeport hospita i the Emergency anibulanc and treated for multiple bruises Jessie Williams, 39, of 342 Carroll avenue, Wallace Everett of 88 Clifford street, and Carter, 56, of 364 Strat 1 ford avenue.

Rawls with failure to drive a reasonable distance 7 apart. Car Overturns Sebastian S. Scalo, 62, of 360 i Folino drive, was injured at 10:45 a.m. when the car he was driv ing went out of control and over- turned on Folino drive, near Kevin road. '7.

Mr. Scalo was taken to St. 'Vincent's hospital in the Emer-'. gency ambulance and treated for multiple bruises. He was later released.

Police said Mr. Scalo lost control of the car he was driving in front of 182 Folino drive and struck a tree, a utility pole guide wire, and then overturned. Firefighters were summoned to the scene to aid Mr. Scalo who was trapped in the vehicle. He ''was then removed to the hos- pital.

Patrolman Charles Anderson, of the traffic division, charged Mr. Scalo with failure to drive in the established lane. Two persons were injured in a two-car collision at 12:55 p.m. at Lafayette and Gregory streets. Treated for bruises by their i own physician were Douglas J.

-McClain, 39, and James Cash- man, 49, both of Plains, N.Y. Police said Mr. Cashman was a passenger in an auto by Mr. McClain when it was in collision with a car driven by Marion L. Williams, 70, of 716 Iranistan avenue.

Patrolman Anderson charged Mrs. Williams with failure to grant right of way at a stop sign. Hits Parked Auto Three persons were injured 7'wKen the car in which they were riding struck a parked auto in front of 109 Carnegie avenue at 9:20 p.m. Treated for bruises by their own physicians were Carmen Martinez, 36, Myrna Carrion, 19, and Robert Martinez, 13, all of 60 Cottage, street, police reported. Police said the trio were passengers in a car driven by Felix Martinez, 30, of 60 Cottage street, when it struck a parked auto owned by Audrey DsBrizzi, of 109 Carnegie avenue.

Patrolman John Pribesh, of the traffic division, charged Mr. Martinez with failure to drive in the proper lane. He was also issued a motor vehicle warning for driving after drinking. Three persons were injured in a rear-end collision at Main and Grand streets at 9:30 a.m., police reported. Taken to St.

Vincent's hospital 'in the Emergency ambulance and treated for multiple bruises were John H. Murphy, 52, his wife, Violet, 52, both of 647 Lakeside drive, and Sheila Fanning, 24, of 358 Bond street. All were later released. The Fanning woman was a passenger in a car driven by Robert Senenko, 25, of 45 Monroe street, when it collided into a car driven by Mr. Murphy in which his wife was a passenger.

Patrolman Anthony Quintiliano, charged Mr. Senenko with failure to drive a reasonable distance apart. WOMAN DEAD AT 102; NEW BRITAIN'S OLDEST NEW BRITAIN (AP)-- Rhoda McCabe, believed to be New Britain's oldest resident, died after a short illness at New Britain General hospital Sunday. HITCHHIKER ROBS $35 FROM AREA Frank Souza, 17, of 235 'Overland drive, Stratford, reported to Stratford police early yesterday morning that he had robbed at knifepoint of $35 by a hitchhiker, whom he had picked up on Huntington road, Stratford, near his home. Police said Souza told them the hitchhiker had asked to be taken to Stratford and Surf avenues, Stratford, and, when near the location, ordered all doors of the car locked. He then placed the knife against the driver's throat. The hitchhiker, who fled on foot, has been described as being of Spanish extraction, six feet tall, about 20 years old, with black curly hair.
