Information is available by calling Dan and Katie Chavez of Carson, area representatives for educational foundation, at 835-5588. Last year, several students in the program stayed with families in the Harbor Area while attending San Pedro and Banning high schools. Max Sioman, 16, of Finland. His favorite subjects are geography, physical education and chemistry and he likes fishing, reading, soccer and handball. He said he wants to be an exchange student to see the United States and "learn new things." Oyvind Alhaug, 16, of Norway.

His hobbies include skin diving, swimming and judo and his favorite subjects are English and gymnastics. "I have always wanted to come to America," he said I on his application. Michael Jorgensen, 17, of Den- mark. Hobbies and interests include his family and friends, football, tennis and jogging.
