Beauty Pageant Franchises Go To 2 Area Men By PETE MASTRONARDI The Miss Connecticut World- USA Beauty Pageant has two businessmen as New Englnd franchise holders for 1977. This was disclosed last night by Alfred Patricelli, executive director of the Miss World-USA contest which has its headquarters lor the United States at 38 Fairfield avenue. Mr. Patricelli identified the new franchinse holders as Francis X.

Goodwin of Ruth Ann terrace. Milford, and Salvatore Palmieri of Hast Haven. In addition to Connecticut, the two men now also hold the franchises for the states of Massachusetts, Maine. New Hampshire. Vermont a Rhode Island.

Mr. Goodwin, formerly as sociated with the Coca Cols Bottling Company of Connecticut, is presently a photographer and involved in public relations. "He's been one of our top photographers for the pageants conducted across the country, and we're going to miss him in work," added Patricelli.
