Inge was born in Independence on May ,1, 1913, jinuUiate'i from the University of Kansas and taught at Stephens College in Missouri and at Washington University in St. Louis.

Army Ordinance. From 1918 to 1925 Mr. Barlow- was vice president of the T.J. Pardy Construction company of Bridgeport. From 1925 to 192S he was associated with Fletcher Thompson Inc.

From I92S to 1944 he was general manager and director of the C.M.B. each company of New Milford, lumber and hardware dealers, builders and plumbers. From 1957 he was company president i 1964 when the firm was sold to the New Milford Lumber company. Mr. Barlow was very interested in the New Milford Historical Society and was first elected vice president in 1952.

He took over the presidency in 1954 and held the post until his death. During his presidency the society built its new headquarters at 6 Aspetuck avenue. Also, during this time Litchfield County's First bank building was moved from Main street to an area near the new head quarters. In addition to his historic interests Mr. BarJow worked lively for the New MiKorc Public library of which be was a trustee and treasurer.

He was also a trustee and chairman the board of the New Milford Cemetery association. Survivors include his wife Mrs. Marian Beach BarJow New Milford; a son, Charles Beach Barlow of London Mrs. Gertrude Amundsen Services for Mrs. "Gertrude Amelia LaCroix Amundsen, 67, of 24S Melville drive, Fairticld, who died Friday were conducted today in St.

Duuria, 20, of 33 South street, West Haven, was killed when his car collided with another auto on New Haven avenue at 1 a.m. vesterday; and Michael St. Rock, 17, of 283 Greenwich avenue, New Haven, drowned in the Eisenhower park pond yesterday pi 3 p.m. According to police, the auto accident occurred when the Dauria auto, which was traveling east along New Haven avenue, apparently left the proper lane of travel, crossed the roadway and struck head-on an auto driven by John W.
