other industries The fraternal organizations represented here are Masonic Independent Order of Odd Fellows Woodmen of the World Modern Woodmen Fraternal Union and Union We understand the Knights of Pythias are soon to organize We can say that at least 85 per cent of the country tributary to this town is tillable Clear Boggy creek is only four miles southwest of here and there is no finer agricultural country in the Territory while north of us there is Muddy Boggy seven miles East ot us one mile is Owl creek and west of us two and one -half miles is Leader creek There is not a better scope of country tributary to any town in the Choctaw Nation than tliero is surrounding Owl This is a fine hog country as well Hogs do well and get ready for the market on the mast and acorns There are three thoroughbred herds within four miles of Owl Yes you can buy some of this land or get good leases We are only three and one-half miles from the coal segregation at Coalgato and there are
