Lewis of Sasco Creek road, Southport, was married yesterday afternoon to Alexander Thomas Sgoutas, son of George B. Sgoutas and Mrs. Alexandra Pappas of Athens, Greece. The Rev. Francis X.

Cheney, rector, performed the 4 o'clock ceremony in Trinity Episcopal church, Southport, and a reception followed in the home of the bride's parents. Mr. Lewis gave his daughter in marriage. She was gowned in ivory satin, designed with a fitted bodice and slim A-line skirt. Re- embroidered Alencon lace trimmed the sweetheart neckline, bordered the elbow sleeves, and encircled the skirt hem and the removable shoulder train.

Her fingertip length mantilla of silk illusion was edged with matching lace and her bouquet was an arrangement of gardenias, stephanotis and orange blossoms. Miss Jennifer Escher served as maid of honor and Mrs. Rich- ard Estes and Miss Karen Crafts served the bride also. Charles K. McClure, 3rd of Louisville, a former college roommate, was the best man and the usher corps included the bride's brother Daniel W.

Lewis, her uncle and godfather Alfred S. Nalle, Jr. and Charles Morgan of Winchester, a couisn of the bride. The couple will make their home in Hartford. Mrs.

Sgoutas, a graduate of the Kathleen Laycock Country Day 'cliool, Greens Farms, also studied at Wells college, Aurora, N.Y., and the Hartford College for Women. She is a provisional member of the Junior League of Bridgeport. The bride is a granddaughter of ihe late Acquilla Cornelius who was one of Chicago's trial lawyers and the lale Mrs. Oma Barnes Lewis and of Mrs. Alfred S.

Nalle of Sand- away, Oxford, and the late Mr. Nalle, former residents Southport. She is a great-granddaughter of Mrs. Charles T. Lassiter of Petersburg, Va.

The bridegroom, who was graduated from Athens college in Greece, also attended Trinity college in Hartford and the University of Law in Athens. He is a nephew of Andrew Pappas oC Vienna, Greek Ambassador to Austria and nephew of Dimitri Pappas, former Greek Ambassador to Moscow. Mrs. Timothy Smith Parents of Third Child Mr. and Mrs.

Timothy Howland Smith of Jacksonville, formerly of Pequot road. Southport, announce the birth of their third child, a daughter Sibley Lawson, on Jan. 24, at the Harkness Pavillion of the Columbia Presbyterian Medical center in New York city. The grandparents are Mrs. R.

Y. where he was a member of Psi Upsilon fraternity. He is with the Carlisle Tire and Rubber company in Carlisle, Pa. Westport Garden Club To Convene Friday Mrs. Roswell Milligan, 5 Stony Poirif, Weslport will be hostess for the February meeting of the Westport Garden club on Friday afternoon.

Miss Angela McElwain, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith McElwain, 103 Peniburn drive Fairfield, has been on a 12-day concert tour with the choir of Lycoming college, Williamsport, through Pennsylvania, New York, West Virginia and Maryland. The future bride attended Elmira college and was graduated from the Katharine Gibbs school, New York city. Mr. Relyea is an alumnus of St. Luke's school. New Canaan and the University of Miami.

Gramatky Of Westport Bride Of Kendall Smith The marriage of Miss Linda Anne Gramatky, daughter of Mr. and Hardie Gramatky, fiO Roseville road, Westport to Kendall Borden Smith of Saddle River, N.J., was solemnized yesterday in Ihe Marble Collegiate church, New York city, by the Rev. Donald Wayne Hoffman. The bridegroom is the son of Mr.

and Mrs. John Mackie Smith of Niagara Falls, N.Y., formerly of Brielle. N.J. The bride wore an Empire, Aline gown of ivory peau de sole, accented with re-embroidered Alencon lace and seed pearls. Her floor-length veil of French illusion was fastened to an open crown pillbox of peau de soie, lace and pearls and she carried a bouquet of white roses and stephanotis.

Mrs. Brian Walsh of Chicago served as matron of honor. Miss Eleanor Vaughn Sass of New York was the maid of honor and the other attendants Mrs. James Ford Johnson, 4th of Brooklyn Heights. N.Y., Miss Sandra Janie Pitman and Miss Susan Birnbaum, both of New York.

Paul Bucklin of Bergenfield, N.J., was Mr. Smith's best man and his ushers included George Ashenfelter of Saddle River, Ronald Dear of the Bronx, N.Y., Roger Conant Manning of New York and Philip Knight of Wood- Ride, N.Y. A reception was held in the National Arts club after which the couple left for the Laurentian mountains in Canada. They will live in New Jersey. Mrs.

Smith, whose father is an author and artist, is a graduate of Bates college and a member of the National Arts club. Her gown of ice blue peau de soie was fashioned with a scoop neckline, Dior sleeves edged in Alencon lace, a natural waistline banded with lace and a sheath skirt with detachable train. She wore an Alencon lace mantilla, waist length and carried a bouquet of stephanotis and phalacnopsis with ivy.
