and'Mrs. Edwin Foster Blair of Sasco Hill road, Fairnelrl and Madison, to Peter Keeton Leisure, 'son of George Stanley Leisure of New York city and of Airs. Lucille Pelouze Leisure of New York, was solemnized yesterday afternoon in St. Thomas church, Fairfield. The Rt.

Rev. William F. X. Casey, pastor, offi ciated at the 3:30 o'clock ceremony which was followed by a reception in the Blair ome. The bride entered me church on the arm of her father who gave her in marriage.

Her gown of white satin and rosepoint lace was designed princess mode with a high; neckline of lace on the satin bodice, long snug-fitting sleevevcuffed in lace and a full, flared skirt of satin which ended in a rounded train. She wore a veil of heirloom Duchesse and rosepoint lace, mantilla style, and carried a bouquet of phalaenopsis orchids, stephanotis and lilies of the valley. Ten attendants frocked in red faille preceded the bride up the church aisle. Miss Mary Kane Blair was her sister's maid of honor, and serving her also were Mrs. Bruce C.

After a wedding trip, the couple will live in New York, where Mr. Leisure is associated with the law firm of Breed, Abbott and Morgan. Mrs, Leisure, who is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Blair of Dallas, Texas, and the late Mr.

and Mrs. Hugh Kane of Dallas, was graduated from the Ethel Walker school in Simsbury and Smith college. She is a member of the New York Junior League. Mr. Leisure is an alumnus of the Choate school, Wallingford, Yale university and the University of Virginia Law school.

Fairfield Women Entering Exhibits In Flower Show International to Open a a in New York City Members of the-Fairfield Garden club are -talcing an active part in the International Flower show which opens Saturday in the New York Coliseum and continues through March 12. J. Daly, Jr. In Jacksonville, last evening Miss Nancy Ann Cooper, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Chalmers Cooper of Jacksonville was married to Walter John Daly, son of Mr.

and Mrs. Daly of Easton road, Westport. The ceremony at 7:30 o'clock took place in St. Mark's Episcopal church with the Rev. Dr.

L. Watkins Taylor officiating. Mr. Cooper gave his daughter in marriage. She was gowned in antique taffeta, fashioned with a Sabrina neckline, yoke and sleeve caps of embroidered lace, long sleeves and a very full skirt caught up at either side with lace, and ending in a cathedral train.

A Mary Stuart cap of taffeta trimmed with seed pearls, fastened her four tiered illusion veil and her bouquet was a cascade of calla lilies and ttephano- tis. Miss Jan Clair Cooper was her sister's maid of honor, frocked in turquoise peau satin trimmed with aqua arid wearing a matching velvet pillbox hat with scalloped shoulder length veil sprinkled with seed pearls. She car- red a cascade of yellow tulips and acacia. The other attendants, Miss Sara Ann Balgy, Miss Joyce Malmberg. Miss Mary Lou Marx and Mrs.

Fred Ossi were similarly frocked in aqua trimmed in turquoise with matching headdresses. Their cascades were of pale yellow tulips and acacia. James Daly of Westport was best man for his brother and Fred Ossi, Arnold Stott. Clayton Miller and Charles Story all of Jacksonville ushered. A reception followed in Leatherbury hall after which the couple left for Canada.

They will make their home in Canton, N. Y. Mrs. Daly was graduated from the Robert'E. Lee high school In Jacksonville and Florida State university in Tallahassee, Fla.

Mr. Daly is an alumnus of the South Kent school He attended St. Lawrence university in Canton and having completed his tour of duty with the U. S. Marine corps, will return to St.

Miss Diane Forsberg, i Instructor and Lordship Resident to Wed in June The engagement of Miss Joyce Elizabeth Miller to Robert Howell Sammis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Stuart Sammis, 80 Park boulevard, Lordship, Stratford, is announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank William Miller of 'Laverock, Philadelphia, Pa.

A June wedding is planned. Miss Miller attended Hood college and was graduated from the Columbia university. College of Physicians and School of Nursing. She is currently with the Presbyterian hospital, New York, as a supervisor-instructor. Her father is president of the Yarnall-Waring company of Chestnut Hill, Pa.

Mr. Sammis attended Williston academy, Easthampton, and Bucknell university and was graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan college. He served as a special agent with the Army's Counter Intelligence corps both in the United States and the Far East and is currently associated with Hemphill, Noyes and company in New York. His father, formerly a'vice president of the Underwood corporation, is now chairman of the board of the Minshall Organ company in Brattleboro, Vt. and a founder and trustee of the American Shakespeare Festival theater in Stratford.

Hostesses Outline March Calendar At Country Club The March program at Brooklawn Country club has been arranged by Mrs. S. Nelson Buell, Mrs. Cecil N. Hoagland, Mrs.

Gilbert Johnson, Mrs. Raymond Mrs. Ronald A. Malbny and Mrs. Raymond Smith.

Flower hostesses for the month will be Mrs. Dwight H. Hall and Mrs. James J. Hooker.

Scheduled to open the program will be luncheon on Tuesday at 1 p.m. preceded by cocktails and followed by a demonstration by Roland Mattson, hat designer. On Saturday, March 12, Mrs. John Cotsworth will show pictures of her trip through central Africa. At 9 p.m., this will follow cocktails at 6 and dinner at 7:30.

Other events planned are duplicate bridge parties each Tuesday morning; a junior-parent bowling match on the sixth at 2:30 p.m.: a bridge-dinner-bridge on the 13th; mixed bridge on the 25th at 8 p.m. and mixed bowling on the "The Play of the Hand" by Hilaire Savard is set for Thursday, March 17. The final event on the calendar will be the ladies bowling luncheon on March 31, with the awarding of the season's prizes following 1 o'clock luncheon. Mr. and Mrs.

and Mrs. Francis J. Gaffney of Overlook road, Westport, was married yesterday morning to John Francis Daniels, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniels of Pittsfield, in the Church of the Assumption, Westport.

The Rt. Rev. John Landry performed the 10 o'clock ceremony. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a gown of white silk organza over taffeta, fashioned with a portrait neckline edged with a rose pattern applique, short sleeves and a full skirt. Her illusion fingertip veil was caught to a satin headdress accented with a flat bow, and her bouquet was a cascade of white roses and hyacinths.

Miss Jean E. Gaffney, sister of the bride, as maid of honor, was attired in an aqua silk organza ballerina length gown and wore a matching headdress. She carried a cascade of pink carnations and white hyacinths. Miss Judith Ann Gaffney, another sister, served as bridesmaid, frocked in pink silk organza with a matching headdress, and carried a cascade and white of aqua carnations hyacinths.
