reported drifting helplessly at a point seven miles southeast of Anacapa Island Her twin motors are disabled and the Wrigley tugboat Milton Patrick this morning was dispatched to tow her back here for repairs HAS NO RADIO How long the vessel has been drifting is not known as she carried no wireless A passing ship brought In word of her distress and British Columbian insurance underwriters placed the order for the towing Owners of the ship are not known in San Pedro The Zaragoza was formerly known at different times as the Erna David Principio and Apollo She is 190 feet in length 24 feet in beam and has a net tonnage of 344 Her crew is believed to number 15 officers and men MSTERY SHIP Considerable mystery surrounds the vessel She came to San Pedro from Mexican waters in May 1930 and has been laid up at various docks about the port until last Saturday morning Although she sailed from here six days ago her position announced today is only about 70 miles west of Point Fermin The tug
