own Falling Springs Lodge and Restaurant located twenty-live miles from Azusa on the north fork of the San Gabriel Canyon The lodge and restaurant were purchased about a year ago by the Bierkes who remodeled and refurnished the cottages and recreation building A large swimming pool with tree shaded area shuffleboard tetherbail badminton and other recreation facilities are available there The lodge is a welcome spot for families with children as well as for clubs and groups Rustic cabins sheltered by huge old incense cedars and white alders add rest and comfort for all visitors to enjoy A running brook meanders in front of the cabins and spills over the side of the hill near the restaurant in the form of a tumbling waterfall The restaurant is open on weekends during the winter months
