petition to allocate Channel 58 to the metropolitan area The FCC turned this request down on the basis that 10 channels would be sufficient for the Los Angeles area for the foreseeable future and By placing an additional channel in Los Angeles we would forestall the possible addition of channels in a number of smaller communities in the Los Angeles area which might in the future seek television
