totaled 5282 cars 42S less than the week before and 1163 under the corresponding week last year Compared by districts increases over the previous week in the total loadings of all commodities were traffic in coal and merchandise and miscellaneous freight which includes manufactured products Coal loadings totaled 204- Z5S6 cars 13903 in excess of the preceding week and 83207 more than were loaded in the corresponding week last year It also was 8612 cars more than were loaded during the corresponding week of 1920 Tabulation shows 50R353 cars loaded with merchandise and miscellaneous freight during the week of March 25 products Coal loadings totaled 204- 586 cars 13903 in excess of the pre- ceding week and 83207 more than were loaded in the corresponding week last Year It also commissioned by Gov Alf Taylor the head of this bureau- in Tennessee She will be known as the Tennessee director of the Bureau for the Promotion of the Welfare and Hygiene of Maternity and Infancy Mrs Crittenden's appointment comes to her in recognition of her wide experience in welfare work among women and children for the past twenty-live years during which time she has served In several organizations and has spoken In several states In striving to better conditions among women and children The national government is co-operating with the states in affording protection to its most
