Daniels Rites In Oakland Funeral services for Cecil Richard Daniels, 68, who died unexpectedly in Santa Cruz Thursday, will be conducted at the C. p. Bannen mortuary, Oakland, tomorrow. Entombment will follow in the chapel of the Chimes, Hay-ward.

Local arrangements were made by Wessendorf and Thai, Inc. Daniels, a native of North Carolina, is survived by his wife, Edith Oakland; a son, Richard B. Daniels, Oakland, and a nephew, Alton B. Daniels, Santa Cruz. He was a resident of Oakland and a locksmith by trade.

Also survived by 7 grandchildren. Native of Missouri. Aged 81 years.

Services wilt be conducted at the Irvin M. Smith Sons chapel, 1050 Cayuga Tuesday, October 17, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Elmer H. Podoll of the Grace Methodist Church officiating.

Donations to Cancer research preferred. 10-12-243 Thomas Waltrip Services Tuesday Thomas Jefferson Waltrip, 81, longtime Santa Crub county resident, died Friday at a lacol hospital after a long illness. Waltrip, a native of Missouri, was associated with Johnnie Tong in the real estate business for many years. Before coming to Santa Cruz 35 years ago, he resided in Watsonville. The family home is at 592 Redwood drive.

He is survived by his wife, Pearl, of Santa Cruz; a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Crichton, Santa Cruz; a son, William Fuqua, Santa Cruz; two brothers, William Waltrip, Santa Cruz, and Bert Waltrip, Placerville; three sisters, Louise Leonie, Orcutt, Estes, Palo Alto, and Marie Horstman, Seaside, and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the Irvin M. Smith and Son chapel Tuesday at 10 a.m. with Rev.

Elmer H. Podoll of the Grace Methodist church officiating. Interment will be in Oak-wood Memorial park. SENTENCING SET Ivan LeRoy Irvine, 52, Felton, is to be sentenced October 24 in Municipal court on a misdemeanor check charge to which he pleaded guilty last week. Irvine is accused of giving checks of $10 and $7.45 to a Santa Cruz service station last August.

Rites Tomorrow Final rites for Frank Stephen Benyousky 58, a retired navy chief petty officer, will be conducted tomorrow at 1 p.m. at White's chapel with Dr. Heber St. Claire Mahood officiating. Interment will follow at 3:15 p.m.

at the Golden Gate National cemetery, San Bruno. A native of Lisbon Falls, Benyousky joined the navy in 1926 and served 26 years and nine months. He came to Santa Cruz in 1949 and operated a grocery store on 38th avenue and Capitola road for several years. Benyousky had been working in various markets in the Santa Cruz area as a checker. Benyousky died Thursday in the Oak Knoll Naval hospital in Oakland.

The family home is at 138 Mentel avenue. He is survived by his wife, Vel-ma, of Santa Cruz; two daughters, Mrs. Norma Dilley, Concord, and Mrs. Sherbie Meroshnekoff, San Francisco; a son, Frank S. Benyousky Santa Cruz; also a brother, Victor Benyousky, Sun-land, and seven grandchildren.

Hezzy W. Skinner Rites Tomorrow In Porterville Funeral services for Hezzy Washington Skinner, 84, a resident of Santa Cruz for 18 years, will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Loyd's Funeral home, Porterville. Interment will follow at the Vandalia cemetery, Porterville. White's mortuary is in charge of local arrangements.

Skinner, a native of Chism-ville, came to California in 1929 and was employed in Porterville as a ranch worker. He moved to Oakland during World War II and was employed in the shipyards. The family home is at 950 North Branciforte avenue. Skinner died in a local hospital after a long illness. He was a member of the Advent Church of God.

His survivors include his wife, Mrs. Claudia Skinner, Santa Cruz; three daughters, Mrs. Elsie Howard, Porterville; Mrs. Verna Greenfield and Mrs. Lois Goetz, both of Santa Cruz; three sons, Clifford, Marvin and Vance Skinner, also of Santa Cruz; 21 grandchildren and 29 greatgrandchildren.

Philip Sittman, Contractor, Dies -Final rites for Philip E. Sittman, 74, contractor in the Santa Cruz area for the past 35 years, will be conducted tomorrow at the Wessendorf and Thai chapel at 10 a.m. with Rev. William H. Hogshead of St.

Andrews Episcopal church of Ben Lomond, officiating. Inurnment will follow in the IOOF crematory. He is survived by his wife, Ad-die, Ben Lomond, and a sister, Penelope Sittman, San Jose. A native of Minnesota, Sittman died at his home, P.O. Box 2825, Alba road, Ben Lomond.

SCRAP METAL STOLEN Muscular thieves last week made off with scrap metal valued at $350, from the Felton quarry of Granite Construction company. Sheriff's deputies said a cable was broken to reach the metal. The theft apparently took place Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.
