loads of Temple radios placed recently with the Temple Corporation of Chicago by distributors of the organization This was revealed today by Herbert Horn of Los Angeles Temple distributor for Southern California and Arizona who returned from a jobbers convention in Chicago The policy of no change in models and no reduction in prices was unanimously approved by the attending wholesalers and orders for the 48 carloads of sets were placed by the distributors as a special testimonial to Fred Marchev president of Temple Mr Korn reported Among other indications of a favorable outlook for the new year which the California distributor mentioned was the fact that one of the largest radio wholesalers in the United States has taken on the Temple line for distribution in New York and New Jersey in preference to several other well known makes "Locally many new dealers are taking the Temple said Mr Horn policy of safeguard- ing a territory so that each Local canning interests and the chamber of commerce were represented today at a special meeting in Los Angeles which was expected to result in a solution to the water shortage at Terminal Island The session was scheduled at 12:15 in the Los Angeles chamber of commerce The meeting was called by Bismarck Houssels chairman of the sub-committee appointed by the general committee selected at the request of Mayor John Porter to work out sewage
