Kelly of Leavenworth, a brother of Mr. Kelly, assisted by Father Dornsifer, pastor of the Rosedale Catholic Church, and Father B. F. McGeary, pastor of Assumption Church of this city, performed the ceremony In the presence of the relatives and a few intimate friends of the contracting parties. After the service at the church, a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride.

Mr. and Mrs. Kelly will be at home to their friends in Edgerton after a two week's wedding trip. Those from Edgerton who attended the wedding were Mr. and Mrs.

W. H. Kelly and son, Ira, and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Rogers celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary at their home near Ana-darko, Oklahoma, April 22d.

Nearly everyone in Johnson county will remember Mr. and Mrs. Rogers, who lived for many years west of Prairie Center. They were married in Indiana on the 22d of April, 1862, then Mr. Rogers went to war, where he served nearly three ears In the 70th Indiana Infantry.

In '67 they came to Kansas and settled on the farm on Captain's Creek, which his brother, Cyrus, had purchased from the Indians a few years before, where they lived in the same log cabin which they erected in a clearing in the timber, until they sold the farm few years ago and moved to Olathe. After living hero some time, their two boys, Charley and Clyde, drew farms in Oklahoma and a little later they moved down to live with them. During the War while on a scouting trip Mr. Rogers and several were captured by a band of rebels, and thrown into prison with several I) limited others at Cahawha. Alabama.
