He quoted the above lines from two astute but worlds-apart film critics in the same city, and commented: "There's no in-between on this film. People either like it or they hate it. Between all the elation and extreme depression, I'm ready for the couch. My ego is also bruised because some critics are leaping on it like it's a rare steak." But, he reported, the public is making its own decisions and in some cities "The Victors" is out grossing "The Guns of Navar- onne." "The Guns" was Carl's box office blockbuster last year. So •what the heck — he could laugh jail the way lo the bank. | "No." Mr. Foreman said, "I'll ,be crying all the way to the jbank. In this business it's all i psychological. Bad reviews de| press me." What also depresses Mr. Foreman: "There s an odd thing about reviewing films.
