interest payable semi-annually not to exceed 6 per cent and not in excess of $5000000 and may secure the payment thereof by executing one or more mortgagee to one or more trustees for the benefit of the holders of said coupon bonds conveying the properties real and personal and the franchises of said corporation to said trustee or trustees to secure the payment thereof upon such terms and conditions as may be deemed just and proper The highest amount of indebtedness to which said corporation shells any time subject itself shall not exceed 50 pee cent of its capital stock 9 The private
