A majority report was made in favor of Stewart Bros, and the minority report set forth that the majority report was erroneous, as the committee had refused to hear expert printers.

Dowd made a strong speech against the majority report, and wanted the printing let to Edwards Broughtou whose bid was $600 lower. SUrbuck read percentages which he naid showed Stewart Bros, to be the lowest bidder. The majority report was adopted. HOUSE.
