Patricia Day was maid of honor and Karen Donat, Lisa Koehler, Connie McComb and Mary Ann and Joanne Gerics, sisters the bridegroom, were bridesmaids. Jackie Grillo, cousin of the bridegroom, was flower girl and Richard Jerothe, brother of the bride, served as ring bearer.

John Celiini was best man, while Robert and David Gerics, brothers of the bridegroom, Douglas and Russell Jerothe, bothers of the bride and Stephen Fusci ushered. After a reception in the Regency House, Pompton Plains, the couple left for Florida They will live in Stratford. The bride was graduated from Depaul high School, Wayne and Fair- fteld university. Summer Art Show Is Set Aug. 18-21 By Westport Club Three professional area artists have been named jurors for "Westport Summer Art Show '77" lo take place in the Woman's club, 44 Imperial avenue, Westport, Aug.

18-21. This is the sixth annual exhibit and sale sponsored by the NYestport Woman's club and the public is invited to visit the Sallery from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The artists include: Victor Olson of Fanton Meadows, West Redding. His portrait of Igor Sikorsky has acquired by the Smithsonian Institute for its National Air and Space Museum.

Mr. Olson has exhibited locally in the Easter Seal Reha- bilitalion art show where he received the 1975 Best in Show award. Geoige Bernard Sutherland, who was born in Stamford, was the lirst recipient of the Stamford Arts for Youth Scholarship award. His works have- been displayed in Lever House, New York, the Hanover bank, Springfield museum, Stamford museum, Greenwich museum, Weslport Nature center and Playhouse gallery. Jane Comley of Weston, painter and sculptress, has exhibited in the Museum of Art.

Science and Industry, Westport Nature center ani the Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts. Mrs. Comley has had shows at Rive Gauche gallery and Artzt gallery, New York and her work is represented at the Sheldon Memorial Art gallery in Nebraska, the United Cerebral Palsy center, the Weston "Public Library and in many private collections. Candlelight Garden Club To Convene Tuesday The Candlelight Terrace Carden club will meet on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the clubhouse.

Near and Far Aid Association Allocates Funds for Projects Plans for allocating funds were discussed by the-Near ami Far Aid association, a philanthropic organization which. serves a diversity of people in Fairfield county and abroad, during the recent annual meeting at the home of Mrs. Leonard Schine of Westporl. Prior to the general membership luncheon session, Mrs. Schine, who is retiring from a year presidential term, cm- ducted a board meeting devoted lo the annual report of the Southport Westport Antiques show, the organization's sole fund raiser, and a discussion of how some ot the proceeds of that show would be used.

Mrs. Gardiner Smith of Easlon presented some options for distributing the funds that her projects review committee, composed of Mrs. William Cullen, Mrs. Bruce Dillman and Mrs. Bruce Smart, had researched and compiled.

Again Near and Far will provide campersliips to needy children in Bridgeport, Fairfield and Norwalk, through the YMCA and Camp TeePee. In New Canaan, disadvanta'ied youngsters will be able to attend the.Horizons program. Funding will be given to the YWCA day care center in Daricn, to FISH and to an inner-city youth lor a scholarship at Trinity Nursery school," Southport. Previously, in 1976-77, gifts were made, to the'YWCA Rape Crisis center, the Alcoholism Council of Mid-Fairfield county, the American Farm school in Greece and the Kennedy center workshop.

Mrs. Smart has assumed the two year presidency with Mrs Gardiner Smith as vice president and Mrs. F. Henry Berlin Mrs. Silas Howland continuing as treasurer and secretary, respectively.

Mrs. William Culler, founder of the S-W Antiques show, will Ihe job overseeing the clothes and household items that ate distributed at the Greene apartments in Bridgeport. Both Mrs. Schine and Mrs. John Stokes, chairman of the antiques show for the past two years, will remain on the board.
