(Jerry) and his family send their best wishes to all their friends in Bountiful. pat Jenson met with the city council Wednesday evening to en-ouire as to what steps would be necessary for the residents on the south side of Fourth North street from Sis Curve Inn to the Bam-bereer tracks to get a curb and gutter and learn if the property owners could move out in the street some twelve feet, like the property owners did on that street west of the Third ward meeting house. The council said inasmuch as the twon park is on the opposite side of the street, it was thought that a wider street was needed for parking of cars, etc. so it was thought it would not be good to make that street any narrower. He said he did not think that any of the property owners were much concerned about moving out.

He was advised to present a petition of those wbo wanted the curb and gutter so the council could create special imrovement district if Friday we held our second meet ing of our 4-H club, the Sewing Sextet club. We held it at our teachers home. Our teacher is Mrs Louise Hughes. Last week we voted in our officers. Our president is Sharon Sedgwick.

Other officers are, vice president, Lynette Hadlock, secretary, Carma Muir; choister, Arlene Thompson, and head of the committee is Naranna Wood. Our opening song, today was Juanita. Reverend I. N. Stanley will preside as moderator at business meetings. Two ammendments to the church constitution were passed thus permitting voting privileges to those regularly attending service but un able to affiliate due to charter membership in a Protestant church elsewhere and creating the office of Sunday school assistant supt. During the past year, the Community church sponsored a boy scout cub pack and conducted, through its minister, a canvass all Protestants between North Sal Lake and Farmington.

It was determined to continue regular Sunday services at 10 a.m. preceded by Sunday school -m- convening at the historic building in Bountiful. during this week's storm. P. P.

The sand blows so much it stings his face and eyes. One thing of interest to him was seeing country where the Isralites traveled for 40 years. He says he has very fine companions over there, they have high moral standards and part of them do not drink or smoke.
