Mrs Hy Sudhoff formerly Anna Marie 8udhoff was bom August 7 1852 near Osnabrueck Germany and baptized and confirmed in the Evangelical church of that place When 18 years old in 1870 she accompanied her parents and sisters and brothers to America and lived in Pittsburgh Pa for one year when they moved on to SL Louis Hi 1872 the family moved on a farm nearAd-dieville On Jan 15 1874 she entered into the estate of holy matrimony with Henry Suedmeyer of Addieville To this union seven children were bom four sons and three daughters one son Christ died July 12 1930 After 21 years of happy married life she was bereft of her lifes companion and was left with seven children ranging from 2 to 19 years of age But she carried on farming for 25 years when in the fall of 1920 she moved to Addieville with her daughter Carrie Three days before Christmas she suffered a slight stroke from which she did not recover She departed this life peacefully last Wednesday evening at 10:45 She leaves to mourn her death three sons Henry Edward and William all of Addieville three daughters Carrie who had lived with her during the declining years of her life Mary Mrs AugHaake of Hoffman Anna Mrs Frank Finke of here 10 grandchildren 2 great-grandchildren one sister-in-law two sons-in-law and three daughters-in-law 8 nephews and eight nieces The days of her earthly sojourn were 84 years 5 months and 8 days Funeral sendees were held Sunday afternoon at 1 at Zions Ev church Interment in the Zion cemetery Rev Kurz officiated The pallbearers were: Wm Krone Aug Krone George Krone Alvin
