have been baptised confirmed or married the church The plates are 10-lnches in diameter with a color picture of the church on the front and a brief history on the back The plates which may be displayed on a hanger or stand are available through the church office or from Marlene Pfaff 628-4013 or Happy Gass 628-6860 Money collected from the sales will be used for missions which is the major purpose of the United Methodist Women Valloy Viow Extonsion Homomakors The Valley View Extension Homemakers met Thurday Feb 7 at the home of Bonnie Preikazu It wu announced at the meeting that a new extension course Inyestment Opportunities for the Beginning Small Investor Is being offered Cost is S2 and the course is open to anyone For more information call 628-4900 Beulah Morrison presented a lesson titled Clothing and the Aging Process Slides presented with the program showed means of adapting clothing to the bodily changes that come with age The club treuury won out in a white elephant Congregational Church In Laurel The recipes are Included In a book: Our Favorite Recipes Mother Nature's Munch Karl Ounter 2 qts popped popcorn 1 cup wheat germ 14 cup butter 13 cup honey to tsp uit 1 cup peanuts 1 cup seedless raisins 1 cup sugar 13 cup water In a large bowl toss together popcorn peanuts wheat germ and raisins Set aside In a 2-qt raurepan melt butter stir In honey sugar water and ult Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until sugar Is dissolved and mixture begins to boll Continue cooking until mixture reaches 250 degrees or hard ball stage on thermometer Pour slowly over popcorn mixture stirring to coat Spread Into 2 buttered-15x10x1" baking pans Bake In 250 degree oven stirring every 10-15 minutes till crispness desired 4C'tjirv Engaged Share the hope theme of
