They come here from Bakersfield, where Rev. Anderson been pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene for six years. Previous to that time, he was pastor for nine years of the Church of the Nazarene in Stockton. Rev. Anderson five years in India as a missionary.

Their two daughters live in this state, Lois Anderson, in South adena and Mrs. Eugene Smee in San Luis Obispo. Rev. Anderson was president of the Ministerial Union in Bakersfield. New faculty members of Cruz schools were welcomed by other teachers at a dessert reception Thursday evening, in the Mission Hill school auditorium.

There are approximately 30 new teachers who have joined the staff this fall. Ross, president of the City Teachers' association, was master ceremonies and introduced the "acts" staged by the older teachers in honor of the newcomers.
