His Broadway stage credits include Rhinoceros," "The Wall," "Candide," "Look Homeward, Angel," "The Lark" and "Mister Roberts." Mr. Slezak was seen in his native Vienna by the Shuberts in 1931 and was brought to New York as the star of "Meet My PHILIP BRUNS was seen at Westport two seasons ago in "The Captains and the Kings." New York theater audiences have seen him in "He Who Gets Slapped." "Come Play With Me" and "Listen to the Mocking Bird." TV fans have watched him in three Studio One productions, "Mutiny on the Shark," "The Deaf Heart" and "Condemned." He has appeared in "Romeo and Juliet," "Merchant of Venice," "Midsummer's Night Dream" and "The Taming of the Shrew." David Hurst received the Clarence Derwent award for his performance in Noet Coward's "Look After Lulu" in 1353.
