several years ago that the Kennedys and other Democratic politicians who were pandering to the Negro vote in the North were lighting a fire in the South the consequences of which will be terrible indeed This prophecy is now tragically being fulfilled It is almost unbelievable that the attorney general of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts would support and back the rock-throwing knife-wielding lawbreaking mobs that have terrorized Birmingham Ala and yet that is exactly what Atty Gen Edward Brooke did in a speech while addressing a synagog group in Haverhill Mass Brooke described the Birmingham law enforcement officers as using Nazi-like methods The Birmingham police and Alabama law enforcement officials have used police dogs and fire hoses in a humane attempt to keep the mob in check What would Atty Gen Brooke have had them shotguns or machineguns?
