He was the middle son of Fermor Spencer Church and Peg- gy Pond Church, grandson of Ash- ley Pond, Jr. who was the founder of the Los Ala- mos Ranch School. Passed away on August 17, 2019 in Albuquerque, NM. Predeceased by his pa- rents, his brother Ted, and his wife Carolyn. Survived by his brother Hugh (Kathleen), daugh- ters Nancy (Mike) Whet- stone, and Janet (Scott) Harrison, Swedish son Johan Schmidt, grandchil- dren Eric (Brittany) Whet- stone, Andrea (Zacch) Hardrick, Jennifer (Steve) Vasquez, Elizabeth (Evan) Smith, great-grandchildren Eliza and Noah Whetstone, Zacchaeus and Israel Hardrick, Tyler Vasquez and numerous nieces, neph- ews, cousins and dear friends.

Allen grew up on the Pajarito Plateau where his father was the Headmaster at Los Alamos Ranch School. When the Manhat- tan Project took over the school, the family moved to Taos where Allen finish- ed high school. He attend- ed Colorado (now Col- orado State University) to study veterinary medicine. While there, his interests switched to acting, so he moved to Hollywood to pur- sue a screen acting career. His claim to fame was a part riding horses in a mov- ie called "Six Flags filmed near San Ildefonso Pueblo.

His movie career ended when he was drafted to serve in the Korean War, stationed at Fort Sill, OK to attend radar school. After his military service, Allen and Carolyn Clarke, who he met in Taos, were married and moved to Palo Alto, CA where Allen could pursue an Electrical Engi- neering degree from Stan- ford University. Upon grad- uation, he was offered a job at Sandia National Labo- ratories in Albuquerque, where he worked until re- tirement in 1994. Daughters Nancy and Ja- net became involved with ski racing, and Allen and Carolyn spent many hours taking the girls all over to compete in ski races. Allen volunteered as a race official.

Though the girls quit racing, Allen became progres- sively more in- volved in race timing. He served in the In- ternational Ski a i (FIS) timing working group, and even had his own timing group in the United States Ski and Snowboarding Association (USSA). He officiated at the 1980 Winter Olympic Games in Lake Placid, NY and the 1988 Winter Olym- pic Games in Calgary. In 2002 at the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, Allen was the Chief of Timing for and Downhill, Super and Al- pine Combined Ski events and was chosen to recite the Oath at the Opening Ceremonies, a mo- mentous occasion for all who knew him and fol- lowed his career. Allen lived a full and vi- brant life, and always had time to volunteer; his church, officiating ski races and teaching compre- hension of the English lan- guage to children across the world with Global Vol- unteers.

His grandchildren learned how to give back in humble service to others by joining him every summer on these trips, which he lovingly planned and championed year after year. legacy of gen- erosity, humility, dedica- tion and pure zest for life was an inspiration to every- one he met. Cremation has taken place in care of The Neptune So- ciety. Barbara Blumberg Carnes a a a Blumberg Carnes passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019 in Albu- querque, NM. She was born on July 13, 1949 in Queens, New York City and grew up in Ros- lyn Heights, Long Island. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lilli- an Uday Blumberg and fa- ther, Asher Blumberg.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 25 years, Thomas James "Jim" Carnes; her sons, Ethan Miller Hadsell and Lucas Orion Hadsell; her step-- daughter, Cynthia Eliza- beth Carnes, hus- band Patrick Lawrence Fisher, and their daughter, Ceilidh Elizabeth Carnes Fisher. Barbara attended the Uni- versity of Wisconsin where she earned a de- gree in English and from Johns Hopkins University, she earned a de- gree in Public Health. Her career was in heath education; she worked at the National Institutes of Health, National Cancer In- stitute, where she edited and wrote health publica- tions. Upon leaving the NCI, she contin- ued her career at Fox Chase Can- cer Center in Phil- adelphia, PA and at Baylor Hospi- tal in Dallas, TX where she worked as Direc- tor of Patient Edu- cation. Besides her family, Barbara loved travel, mu- sic, art, camping and dear friends.

A Memorial Service cele- brating life will be held Saturday, Septem- ber 14, 2019, 3:00 p.m., at FRENCH Wyoming. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Bar- memory to the Sus- an G. Aragon Beatrice (Bea) Gurule Aragon (forever 29) a life- time resident of Alameda, passed away August 31, 2019 after a short illness with her family at her side. Bea was pre- ceded in death by her husband Rojerio, her son Michael Aragon and her parents Cresenciano and Merlinda Gurule and also four sib- lings who preceded her, sis- ters Sylvia Garcia, Frances Sanchez, Sadie Whitaker and brother Alfonso Gurule. She is survived by her daughters Merlinda Gallegos, Esther M.

Maes- tas and spouse Walter, three grandchildren; Mi- chael Aragon, Roger Galle- gos and spouse Samantha and Christopher Gallegos. Also, three great grandchil- dren; Devin and Michaela Aragon and Elena Galle- gos. Her sister Florence Archibeque, her sisters-in- law Juanita Gurule and Rose Diaz, her brothers-in- law Bernard and Lucy Aragon, Or- lando and Rose Aragon, Ray- mond and Goretti Aragon, Jody and Diane Aragon, Manuel and Mar- yann Aragon. As well as many spe- cial nieces, neph- ews, cousins and friends. Bea had a passion for shopping and was on a first name basis with almost ev- ery sales clerk at and She retired from Sun Coun- try Industries and went on to work for State Farm In- surance.

She loved taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bea was a devoted Catho- lic. A rosary will be at 8:00 am September 12, 2019 fol- lowed by the mass of Chris- tian Burial at 9:00 am at Na- tivity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Interment will follow at Santa Fe Na- tional Cemetery at a later time. Billy Gene Williams Heaven has gained a new song minister with the passing of our beloved Billy Wil- liams on August 20, 2019.

Bill was promoted to heav- en after an ardu- ous battle of body, comforted in the loving arms of his wife Mary, and now is rejoicing in heaven that he can savor ice cream and sing without pain again. Bill PoPo- Williams was born on June 5, 1927 in Flo- ris, Oklahoma. He served in the Coast Guard and then attended Abilene Christian University, where earned a BS in Mar- keting a Minor in Bible. For over 50 years, Bill worked as a life insurance agent and chartered finan- cial consultant; he loved to help and educate others about insurance and was passionate about his work. He qualified for the compa- Top Ten Club for six consecutive years and con- tinued to be a very success- ful agent winning many oth- er awards over the years.

Most of all, Bill was very committed to knowing scripture and living an au- thentic life of faith. He was active in his church and lived out his faith as a worship leader, deacon, eld- er, and bible class teacher. Bill is also fondly remem- bered as a fixer, a joke tell- er and a singer of Gods praises, a dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys and UNM Lobos, and a man with many many projects. and Mamie Williams, stepmother Mar- jorie Williams, his sister Bonnie Lee Ratts and brother Don Williams his first wife Bar- bara Anne Van Zandt Williams. He is sur- vived by his wife Mary El- la Williams; children with Barbara: Karen Anne Juar- ez and husband Jerry of Vancouver, WA; Gary Wayne Williams and wife Jennifer Bybee Williams of Fort Worth, TX; Kathy Lee Thomas and husband Ran- dall Craig Thomas of Port- land, OR; Elizabeth Anne Williams of Albuquerque, NM; and Rebecca Lee Wil- liams of Mesa, AZ; His chil- dren gained by marriage; Cynthia Ann Kasper and husband Steve Kasper of Redding, CA; and James Taylorand his wife Debor- ah Taylor of NM. He was also very blessed with his 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Al- so surviving is his oldest brother, Wayne Williams of Shell Knob MO. Service will be held at Netherworld Park Church of Christ at 10am Septem- ber 21st, 2019.

Carolyn Adell Holder Beloved mother and friend, Caro- lyn Holder, passed away Sun- day morning, Au- gust 4, 2019. She was 76 years old. She will be great- ly missed for her immense care for others and de- lightful sense of humor.

Carolyn was born on February 19, 1943 in Albuquerque, New Mexi- co. She graduated from Highland High School, worked in the telecommuni- cations and medical fields, and owned and operated Mommy Too Daycare Cen- ter in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Carolyn moved to Fairview, Oregon shortly after her husband, John Holder passed away in 1998. She enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, traveling and col- lected Native American Art, pigs, and light- houses. Carolyn is sur- vived by her daughters Kerry Aden and Karen Reiff; her son Karl Reiff; their spouses Doug, Ed, and Jennifer; three granddaughters, Gracie, Brooke, and Bethany Reiff; her brother and sister-in law Gary and Barbara Smith; and her best friend, Cheryl Smith.

She will be interred with her late husband, John H. Holder, Jr. on Thursday, September 19, 2019, at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM, 501 North Guadalupe Street. Daryl E. Webster Daryl took his last breath on earth his first breath in heaven Born in Aurora, IL to Albert Ruby (Upchurch) Webster who preceded him in death.

Matias Abelino Zamora April 14, 1927 September 1, 2019 From the court- room to his fami- ly home, Matt was loved and re- spected by all. He had a passion for the law and a commitment to raise a family with strong val- ues and dedication to mak- ing a difference. His love of life and the law translat- ed into immense pride for his family and into joy and professionalism in practic- ing law. He kept the prom- ise he made to his mother when he was 11 years old: un hombre or be a good Matias Abelino Zamora was born in Mora, NM, on April 14, 1927, to Jose Mat- ias Zamora and Antonina Lucero Zamora, the young- est of five children (Adelia, Louis, Estevan, and Maclovia). His father, a school superintendent, en- couraged Matt to help oth- ers in the community and emphasized the impor- tance of education.

In 1945 during World War II, Matt was drafted into the Army working as a military po- lice officer in Germany and then as a member of counterintelligence where he became fluent in Ger- man and Russian, in addi- tion to English and Span- ish. Matt took advantage of the G.I. Bill to attend and graduate from New Mexi- co Highlands University. In Las Vegas, NM, he met the love of his life, the for- mer Emeline Lujan, and they later married in Wash- ington, D.C. in 1952.

In 1951, Matt attended Georgetown University School of Law in Washing- ton, D.C. and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1954. In 1965, Governor Jack Campbell appointed him as a District Judge for the Fourth Judicial Dis- trict. He was the first per- son born in Mora to be ap- pointed to the bench in that district. Following his judi- cial appointment, Matt re- sumed his passion as a trial attorney, helping families throughout Northern New Mexico, until his retire- ment in 1993.

He served on the Boards of the Interna- tional Academy of Trial Lawyers, the American Col- lege of Trial Lawyers, and was a founding member of the New Mexico Trial Law- yers Association. He was a dedicated board member of the Foundations for both St. High School and New Mexico Highlands Uni- versity. From playing golf, to playing cards, listening to mariachi mu- sic, fishing or reading Shakespeare and Edgar Allen Poe, Matt lived life through laughter, honesty, faith, respect for others, and integrity. He is now at peace and reunited with his son D.

Matt is survived by his wife Emeline and loyal dog children Roseanna Gonzales (Ger- ard), Alonzo Zamora, Moni- ca Zamora (Rick Crowell) and Geno Zamora (Sheila); grandchildren Enrico Gon- zales, Andrea Garcia (Genaro), Stefan Crowell (Trish), Alex Crowell (Jaime), Matias A. Zamora II, Kelly Shea and Ryan Shea; and great- grandchildren Jacob and Jordan Garcia; Kyle, Aus- tin and Emeline Crowell; Stevan Gallegos; Thomas and Bella Shea; daughters- in-law Bernadette Zamora and Beverley Zamora; nephew Walter Adams (Romie) and many cousins, nieces, nephews, endless friends and cherished col- leagues. The family would like to thank a Santa Fe, Open Arms Home Care, Ambercare Hospice Care, and his many care givers for their love and devotion, in partic- ular Mildred Lopez.
