The Salt Lake Tribune, Monday, August 13, 1962 Former Legislator, 87, Dies in Logan Special to The Tribune LOGAN Danford M. Bickmore, 87, a former member of the Utah State Legislature, died Saturday at 11:40 a.m. in a Logan hospital after a short illness. In 1910 Mr. Bickmore was elected a Cache County representative to the Utah House of Representatives.

He served in the Mr. Bickmore 1911 Legislature. A MEMBER OF the board of the Cache National Farm Loan Assn. many years, he also served on the Cache County Welfare Board, the Paradise Town Board and the Paradise Water Co. Board for nearly 40 years.

Bickmore, who was the father of Lee S. Bickmore, president of National Biscuit moved to Logan from Paradise eight years ago. HE WAS engaged in farming until recent years. Born at Wellsville on Jan. 3, 1875, a son of David and Elizabeth McArthur Bickmore, he moved with his parents to Paradise while he was a child and attended schools there. He later attended Brigham Young College at Logan, graduating in 1897. ON MARCH 3, 1898, he married Mary Jane Smith in the Logan LDS Temple. She died in 1918.

He married Lette Critchlow Sorensen on June 14, 1922. Other survivors include seven sons and four daughters, David Bickmore, Long Beach, Rulon S. Bickmore, Salt Lake City; Lee S. Bickmore, Short Hills, N.J.; LeRoy S. Bickmore, Ft.

Huachuca, Vaughan S. Bickmore, Brigham City; Raymond S. Bickmore, Ogden; Danford C. Bickmore, Los Angeles; Mrs. Robert W.
